Wat Dhammagunaram of Utah will
hold a special New Year Celebration on December 31, 2014 to January 1, 2015
to bid farewell to 2014 and welcome the New Year 2015. This
communal practice involves chanting of the Sermons of the Buddha, practicing
meditation, observing Eight Precepts, and giving alms to the Sangha.
The ceremony aims to help us pass the old year with less emotional hang-over,
to enable us with a clear and confident consciousness, and to strengthen our
awareness so that we can make the best of the coming year.All
members, devotees and well-wishers are warmly invited to participate in this
auspicious occasion. May the blessings of the Triple Gem be upon each and every
one of you for your long life, good health, safety, happiness and success
throughout the year 2015.
